It would be an understatement to say that I wanted the two of you. It was a long and arduous journey that gave me two perfect little babies. Don't misunderstand, I am not complaining and I would go through it all again in a split second. God has blessed your Momma with two brilliant jewels in her crown.
I have been contemplating this journal for many months, ever since I realized my good fortune to be pregnant with the both of you. I wanted it to be perfection and I realize that that is an impossibility. I want you know about your Momma and to read about your own progress. I will write my little "Meatball" and "Peanut" a little each day.
Your smiles and laughter are my fuel. I delight in your happiness! I used to be strongly against the use of exclamation marks but, since the two of you entered this world I use them all the time!!!!!

Dearest, darling, Ruby and Nicholas, this is my online scrapbook dedicated to you both. I will chronicle your daily activities and also shed light on the life your Momma has lived thusfar. The idea came to me last night just before bedtime and I think it may prove to be fruitful and maybe even a bit cathartic for me. I love you more than I thought humanly possible. I am so blessed that after a tumultuous journey, God gave Momma two beautiful kids. I LOVE YOU.
